Our treatment team is among the most dedicated and educated. As a result, our patients receive the best state-of-the-art dental care from the entire staff.
They are knowledgeable and experienced, caring and compassionate. You can always count on them for a smile and a clear answer to your questions. They understand how you feel, pay attention to your needs, and call out a cheery hello when you walk in the door.
They bring you the benefits of the most current techniques in all facets of dentistry. Our team stays well abreast of advances and innovations in the field. All team members regularly attend accredited continuing education sessions sponsored by professional organizations including the American Dental Association.
Our three Registered Dental Hygienists bring over sixty years of combined professional experience. All bring clinical expertise with a gentle touch along with a commitment to partnering with patients in order to achieve excellent oral health.
A member of the CSDA team since 1991, Cheryl, a registered Dental Hygienist has been the President of the Georgia Dental Hygienists Association twice. Her goal is to provide quality hygiene care in a welcoming environment. And, with such long-term relationships with patients, she has had the opportunity to treat parents and then welcome their young children to our office. She is an alumnus of the University of Kentucky and a native of the Anniston, Alabama. Cheryl and her husband are blessed with a son and daughter and three grandchildren who keep them on the go in their spare time.
A native of Atlanta, Karen, with over twenty years at Colony Square Dental Associates, is a member of our team of Registered Dental Hygienists. She prides herself in working with her patients to ensure their smile is a ‘happy, healthy one’. And when patients are in need of care she is on hand to help explain their needs. She is a graduate of Clayton State College and the University of Georgia. When not busy with her patients Karen is on the ‘run’ in many Atlanta events and with her team of joggers. She also enjoys traveling and the latest movies.
With a passion to help people, Angela is excited to meet our patients and help keep their smiles happy ones. And with a Dental Hygiene degree, as well as a BA in Anthropology, she brings a unique perspective and attention to details to caring for her patients. She enjoys learning about different cultures, spending time with her “baby”, a Bichon-Poodle Mix rescue dog, her fiancé, her family in Arkansas and her fiancé’s family in Panama. In her spare time Angela appreciates music, traveling, exercising, learning new things, and spending time outside in the serenity of nature.
Our three Certified Expanded Duty Assistants not only offer an extra pair of hands to help our dentists, they are also available to answer questions, help review home care instructions following procedures and offer the TLC that our office is known for.
With six years as a valued member of the CSDA team, Sharlene has over 20 years experience in dental assisting. Valuing continuing her education, she has obtained certification as an Expanded Duties assistant in Georgia. She’s on hand to help her patients be comfortable during procedures, assist the doctor and ensure all questions are answered, with her wonderful southern accent and charm, before her patients leave. Her goal is to help patients maintain beautiful, healthy smiles. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, sports – go Braves – and spending time with family.
Our Expanded Duties dancing assistant, also known as ‘K2’, welcomes her patients with a big smile and a dance. She has been an assistant for over 20 years, 8 of those in our practice. She says that a beautiful smile gives a person confidence and makes such a difference in how they feel about themselves. “It is very rewarding to be a part of that experience”. Originally from Fort Myers, FL, (go Gators!) her pride and joy are her 3 sons and her passions include working with her church, sports and reading.
An Alabama native, Ezel moved to Atlanta in 1987. She is approaching her 20th anniversary as a loyal assistant, with Expanded Duties certification, to Dr. Hochberg and all patients at Colony Square Dental Associates. With her longevity in the practice she has built close relationships with patients and understands their dental healthcare needs and concerns. To Ezel, it’s “her pleasure” to ensure each visit is the best experience possible for the patient. Cooking, traveling and spending time with close friends and family are a few things she enjoys in her spare time.

A true Atlanta native, with 5 years background in the customer service industry, Kayla says it’s, “her pleasure” to join us at Colony Square Dental Associates. She takes pride in providing memorable experiences for all of our patient family and helping patients who have questions or concerns. As a social media enthusiast and a long-time blogger, she is helping us stay in touch with patients on Facebook and Google and working on our Blog. Her goal is to keep our patients abreast of the latest in new dental technology & tips learned in our continuing education courses and all CSDA adventures. In her spare time, aside from blogging, she spends time with her son, Mason (Mase for short), and enjoys cooking.
Recently relocated to Atlanta from Charleston, SC, Crystal brings over 10 years of business administrative experience to team CSDA. She is passionate about customer service and creating experiences that help our patients feel like part of a family. Married to her best friend Alfonso, they enjoy traveling, taking photographs, eating at local delis, and watching basketball with their two sons, Kory and Karter.
Returning to Atlanta after spending fifteen years in the Midwest, Sharon loves being back home in the South. Bringing over a decade of medical administrative and customer service experience to Colony Square Dental Associates, she looks forward to making sure our patients receive excellent service at every turn. Sharon shares our strong values of being part of the community and making our patients feel like family. In her time away from the office, Sharon enjoys spending time with her husband of 34 years, pampering her cat, reading and visiting her children in California and Cambodia.
After completing a four-year career in the Air Force as a Dental Assistant, Candice, a native of Chicago, is a welcome addition to Colony Square Dental Associates. Being passionate about providing excellent customer service, attention to detail and a smiling face, Candice compliments our dynamic front office team. She is excited to meet and greet patients, assist with scheduling and become an integral member of our business office. In her spare time, Candace enjoys attending Bible study, spending time with her husband and going to the theater.
